This is probably the most complete and visually appealing infographic of the three I picked for today. It successfully merges a large amount of text data with graphics and images related to Twitter. It’s a happy mix of various graphic styles that illustrate a broad amount of information tied together with a successful color palette.

The second one I picked relies heavily on text, but this doesn’t take away from its effectiveness. It uses a lot of twitter imagery and graphics to tell the stories and to help guide the audience through the infographic. All the different colors utilized help separate the different areas of information.

With Seven facts about Tea drinking around the world, we stay in the same drink category for our last and final infographic. This one relies more on the text elements to convey it’s message than the previous two post about drinks, and uses graphics or illustrations as a backup or as decoration to the information given. Having said that, I believe that the combination of the layout as well as the colors utilized make this a very appealing infographic.

Best Beer in America

This is the second featured infographic on drinks but my first on alcohol and this one has bit more graphic and a lot more info but it still rates highly on my visual appeal scale. It can be difficult to use a map in an infographic, especially when every state figures into the equation, as in the case below, but the artist has done a nice job to simplify the data. While this infographic is confusing at first glance, the bar graphics are done well enough that you are rewarded with some interesting facts after a few seconds of focus, and after all…. who doesn’t like beer?

The reason I picked this one as my first post was because I wanted to show ho you can achieve a great deal of information with very little words. This info-graphic is very successful at showing how many of the most popular coffees in the world are made, utilizing minimalistic design.
